You must comply with the parachute centre rules at all times.
The minimum age to participate in skydiving/parachuting is 16
and with the written permission of your parent/guardian
At 18 years of age the participant can sign for themselves.
No alcohol is to be consumed on the parachute centre grounds at all times by anyone.
You must not consume alcohol on the day of your course or you may
be declined from participating.
The final decision on your ability to do the parachute jump/skydive
lies entirely with the club and instructors.
Your deposit is non transferable and non refundable.
If you fail to show up on the day of your intended course without giving at least
72hrs notice you will forfeit your course deposit and an administration fee of £50 will
be charged to rearrange your course to a later date.
If you arrive without the necessary paperwork you may forfeit your course and an administration
fee of £50 will be charged to rearrange your course to a later date.
If bad weather prevents your jump a new date can be arranged with your chosen parachute centre.
Any charity jumps should be done with permission and knowledge of the chosen charity.
As skydiving/parachuting is classed as a dangerous sport Skydive Utopia cannot accept any responsibility
for personal injury or losses of any kind whilst you are participating in the sport.
The participant accepts all responsibility for any personal injury or loss.
The participant can elect to get additional personal insurance cover.
Skydive Utopia with consideration to the booking fee will take reasonable steps to provide you with the course of your choice
at the venue of your choice but, if unavailable on your chosen date, may elect to offer you an alternative airfield within reasonable
travelling distance from your home at which you can complete your jump.
Skydive Utopia acts as an agent on your behalf and is not tied to or connected
to any parachute centre within the British Parachute Association.
I understand that any training supervision or equipment with which I am provided at any club or centre used by Skydive Utopia will be of an adequate and safe standard. Nevertheless I fully understand and freely acknowledge that sport parachuting is inherently dangerous regardless of the standard of training, supervision and equipment employed.
I voluntarily accept all the risks inherent in the sport and I agree to carry out all parachute jumps and all activities connected with parachuting strictly in accordance with any instructions or tuition which I may at any time receive from any person authorised by any club or centre which is used by Skydive Utopia to give me such instructions or tuition.
I agree for myself and my personal representatives to indemnify and hold harmless Skydive Utopia against any claim or claims whether on my own account or from Third Parties arising out of any accident or incident resulting in any loss or damage (including bodily injury and death) and whether or not caused by my negligence or arising in consequence of my participation in any form of parachuting or related activity.
Refunds will only be given in extreme circumstances, and at the discretion of Skydive Utopia.
